River Kunda

The Kunda River is also known by names such as the Võhu River, Põlula, Sämi and Semmijõgi. JThe river starts 1.5 km north of the small town of Roela on the eastern edge of the Pandivere Upland and flows into Kunda Bay in the Gulf of Finland, belonging to the Gulf of Finland basin. The length is 69 km and the catchment area is 530 km². It is the longest and most water-rich river in Lääne-Viru, which forms a canyon with deep sandstone walls in Kunda.

Canoeing is possible on different routes, lasting approx. 2.5 h to 4.5 h
